Your organisation has a need, a plan, a project which could improve the present provision of your services.

You need to raise several hundred thousand dollars or several million dollars.

What are your chances?

We always conduct a Feasibility Study before accepting a Capital Campaign. It costs little and provides the basis for your Board of Management to make an informed decision about fundraising.

We need factual answers to the following questions:

  1. Is the proposed project necessary?
    Can we anticipate real benefits?
    Can we show that the community will be better off because of it?

  2. Have we firm costing?
    Do we have government or other funding input?
    What is the shortfall - fundraising target?
    Is the cost justifiable as compared to benefits?

  3. Is the Board in favour?
    Wholeheartedly?
    Will the Board support the fundraising effort - collectively and individually?

  4. Does the community approve of the project?
    Will the community support fundraising?
    Are there sufficient potential donors for leading, major gifts?
    Are there sufficient "Askers" at all levels to support a campaign?

  5. What are the competitive demands for the fundraising dollar?
    Are there any local factors encouraging or inhibiting fundraising for this project?
    Are there any local factors affecting timing of an Appeal?
